Palin to insignificance

She's a successful woman in politics. Hurrah. She's a Republican. Boo. She's pro-'life'. Boo. She's pro-Alaskan independence. Wha..? Whoever wins the US election, face it, nothing will change much. Inequality will continue to grow, the economy will continue its bust and the wars will go on. REL's prediction? Obama will go down as the first black to win a presidential race but in accordance with American political tradition of late, will not get sworn in. McCain will technically lose but still end up President, will have a heart attack a week after his inauguration and Palin will become the first woman American President. Here's her take on the Iraq fiasco,

“Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God.”
